Missouri Interagency Council on Homelessness

The Governor's Committee to End Homelessness was established by executive order in 1987 by Missouri Governor John Ashcroft.  The text of the 2003 Executive Order re-authorizing the GCEH can be found here.

The Committee was founded in response to the Stewart B. McKinney Homeless Assistance Act of 1987 and the establishment of the Federal Interagency Task Force.

The GCEH ceased to be a state-appointed entity in 2021 and re-named the Missouri Interagency Council on Homelessness in February 2021.
